You might be wondering how it feels working with your spouse in the same office. There are those who call it couple goals while for others is a big no.

Citizen TV News Anchor Lulu Hassan has opened up on how she finds it working with her Husband Rashid Abdalla on a daily basis at Royal Media Services (RMS).

A curious fan wanted to know how Ms Hassan has managed to maintain high levels of professionalism while anchoring the weekend bulletin together with her Hubby.

“How does it feel to work with your hubby at the same place to me it’s Kinda difficult,” asked Lamarmilkah.

Lulu mentioned that she found it fun working with the hubby.

“@lamarmilkah Imagine it’s fun.. We get to spend a lot of tome together,” she responded.

Maternity Leave

Ms Hassan’s revelation comes day after resuming work following a three months maternity leave.

Abdalla married Lulu in a fancy wedding in 2007. They met while they were still working at Radio Salaam. Rashid said he had heard her voice on radio, and was eager to meet her in person. They have three children together.

Kanze Dena's Replacement

In July 2018, Abdalla was poached by Citizen TV from NTV as Kanze Dena’s replacement on “Citizen Nipashe” who was appointed as State House Spokesperson.

During that period, Citizen TV, unveiled a star studded team of experienced Swahili anchors among them; Nimrod Taabu,  Mashirima Kapombe, Jamila Mohamed, Swaleh Mdoe, and Mwanahamisi Hamadi.
