Diamond’s ex-girlfriend Jokate Mwegelo was recently stripped off of her job at President Magufuli’s party Chama Cha Mapinduzi.
Jokate was the Youth league’s secretary following her appointment on 15 April 2017.
Reports have it that Wema Isaac Sepetu will take up the position previously held by Jokate.
An insider of Chama cha Mapinduzi party who spoke to a Tanzanian media outlet revealed that the bongo movie star will take the position of CCM Youth league secretary.

For those who may not be aware Jokate Mwegelo and Wema Sepetu have had affairs with pop star Diamond Platnumz.
The insider said, “ The position of Jokate will be taken by Wema but Jokate will take up a bigger post but for now it will the information will remain confidential and the leaders will not open up on the issue.”
Vice Secretary General of Umoja wa Vijana wa Chama cha Mapinduzi (UVCCM) Shaka Hamdu disclosed that the decision to eject Jokate from the position was not based on any faults from her side but it is a normal procedure since she was still on probation.
According to reports Jokate popularly known as kidoti was ousted from her position after the Magufuli led party failed to entrust her with more responsibilities.
Wema and Jokate do not see each other eye to eye after Wema found that Jokate who was her friend stabbed her back and dated her then boyfriend Diamond.
