“Ngai!” Churchill commented.

Gospel singer Willy Paul recently left fans with jaws on the floor after sharing a video of a girl twerking to his song ‘Hallelujah’.

“She told me to share @officialnandy hapa kazi tu!! Goodnight#hallelujah1,” Willy Paul wrote in a bid to absolve himself from the backlash that would predictably come after sharing such a video.

But despite his efforts to absolve himself, fans were triggered by the video and complained that the video was too raunchy for a gospel artiste.

“You guys still think he's a gospel artist? You want him to do a press conference to announce that he used gospel music as a stepping stone for his musical career? Willy Paul is a secular artist so don't pretend not to know. Have you seen Sarah Kiarie doing collabos with Queen Darling?” one fan posed.

“Wewe sasa umefika point of no return,” another added.

“The first artist to move from Gospel to Secular in +254...sounds funny. Umepotea bro walai,” read one comment while another read “Officially unfollowing this kid...u’ve lost it totally.”

Churchill show creator Daniel Ndambuki also commented with ‘Ngai!’ as a way of expressing his surprise at the video on the Gospel artiste’s page.

Since its release, the song has caused quite some controversy forcing Willy Paul to explain if the song featuring songstress Nandy “Hallelujah” is gospel or not.

According to the Saldido CEO, Hallelujah is a love song and not gospel and as an artiste he has the creative freedom to collaborate with artistes across the board and do the kind of music he wants.

“Watu wengine wamezungumzia nyimbo yako ya Halleluyah featuring Nandy kuwa jina pekee ndo gospel hili unasema aje?” Willy was asked in a recent interview with presenter Ali.

Pozze responded saying “It’s not a gospel song, but ni Love song, alafu you know mimi ni artiste naruhusiwa kuimba, unajua kwanza nikifanya na Rayvvany watu walishangaa sana, nimefanya na Nandy pia wameshangaa, sasa jua wameshangaa ya kutosha sijui next project watafanya nini sasa”.
