NASA sponsor and businessman Jimmy Wanjigi has now turned to the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) Dr Keriako Tobiko for help after his attempts to seek the same from Inspector General of Police Joseph Boinnet bore no fruits.
Wanjigi has now sought the intervention of Tobiko to investigate threats over his life.

The businessman accused Boinnett of snubbing his complaints over threats on his life.
According to The Standard, Wanjigi said he requested security from Boinnett at his own cost but his pleas have been ignored.
“To date, the IG has ignored and/or failed to respond to or acknowledge our said letter, despite the urgency called for,” Wanjigi said in a letter through his lawyer Elizabeth Karoki.
He said he wrote to the IG on September 13 on the death threats seeking for police protection.
However, he said, some senior police officers dismissed the claims, terming them false without investigating them.
“We are therefore calling upon you to intervene and direct the IG to comprehensively investigate our client’s report as requested in our said letter,” Wanjigi said in his apply letter to the DPP.
In the past year, Wanjigi has emerged as the powerful behind-the-scenes operator within NASA and a primary source of funding for Raila’s campaign.
The business mogul was part of the NASA technical team and advisors behind the logistics and campaign machinery for Raila.
