1. Aloe vera

Fresh aloe vera gel has components that can help heal skin and fade scars. It doesn't cause excessive damage to the skin and leaves skin smoother and moisturized.

2. Baking soda

Sodium bicarbonate crystals has components that can gently exfoliate skin when used as a cleansing scrub.

Mixing with warm water until a paste is formed then applying to the skin and leaving it on for a minute will allow the mixture to cleanse the pores and help prevent further blemishes.

Doing it on alternate days gives the best results.

3. Coconut oil

This is a popular natural moisturiser with healing properties.

Virgin coconut oil massaged in your skin helps improve your skin's health.

4. Cucumbers

Cucumbers are excellent at hydrating skin and also contains vitamin A, vitamin C, and magnesium.

Lay cucumber slices over scarred skin every morning for half an hour then rinse. Repeat daily for maximum results.

5. Honey

Massage raw honey over the scars- you can also opt to add a teaspoon of cinnamon to the honey then massage it over the affected skin.
