Studies have shown that using vibrators may be damaging to your sexual health.

Some health experts believe that using a vibrator can lead to dead vagina syndrome, which is the numbness of the genitalia after use of sex toys.

Other even go further to say that the over-use can lead to affect whether or not you get an orgasm and can even lead to delayed sensitivity of your vagina.

However, some experts say the condition isn't clinically proven while a study from the University of Indiana say only 3% of women have experienced dead vagina syndrome after using a vibrator.

The numbness only lasts for a short time with research showing that the numbness fades after only an hour.

It's not exactly a preventable condition but should you experience it, doctors recommend that you avoid over-sensitizing the vulva and clitoris.

Extended numbness should be checked over by a doctor.
