The Tecno CX smartphone launched went down earlier on Wednesday and it saw the convergence of top celebrities and iconic tech personalities at the Safari Park Hotel and Casino.

It was all pomp and color, from designer prints to fashion selects, attendees were dressed to impress for what Ms Beehong Hong, the Chief Marketing Officer Tecno Mobile called their biggest launch for 2017.

Some of the celebrities that graced the auspicious event include Eric Omondi, Fena Gitu, Talia Oyando,Chipukeezy, King Kaka and Nigerian actress Mercy Aigbe. The Tecno Camon CX is set to take over smartphone photography with their 16MP dual flash front camera accompanied by a suitable battery life of 3200mAh with a fast charge feature. Word is, just ten minutes of charging will allow you to take a  thousand pictures. Also, their finger print design that let's you to take clear selfies within a second.

But we're here for the glitz and glam.
