Eczema is a skin condition that usually occurs in small children. It is believed that eczema is caused due to an overactive response by the body’s immune system to an irritant. This causes the skin to dry out, get it inflamed and irritate it thus causing itchiness.

2.Dry skin

As you get older, your skin tends to get thinner and drier thus causing itchiness. Showering with too hot water can also dry out your skin.

3.Allergies

An allergic reaction can cause an itchy skin rash.

Allergies can be because of numerous things; what we eat, pets, chemicals soaps, the list is endless.
