It’s simply amazing! Aloe Vera has so many great benefits for the skin and hair especially when used straight from the plant itself; if you do not have the plant at home, you can buy a fresh stem from a market or even buy a plant for your home. That said, here are ways in which you can incorporate Aloe Vera into your beauty routine for flawless skin and great hair!
8 easy ways to incorporate Aloe Vera into your beauty routine
There’s a reason why Aloe Vera is called the miracle plant.
1. For acne scars.
If you have acne scars, Aloe Vera can help speed up the healing process. Apply the gel directly on the scars and leave it on overnight. Aloe contains antioxidants like vitamin C and E so it’s really going to help reduce the appearance of redness and blemishes and reveal that new layer of skin quicker.
2. As an eyebrow gel.
You don’t really have to splurge on a brow gel when you have Aloe Vera which acts as a natural brow gel. Dip an eyebrow brush into Aloe and use it to brush your brows. This will keep them in place all day, without the sticky feeling.
3. As hair conditioner.
Aloe Vera is well known to work wonders for the hair. It adds shine and moisture so it works as a natural deep conditioner. Apply some Aloe gel starting from the roots of the hair and working your way to the ends. This will not only leave your hair soft and smooth but will also promote hair growth. Let it sit in for at least fifteen minutes before washing your hair as you normally would.
4. Moisturizer.
If you have oily skin, Aloe is super light weight but still has the perfect amount of moisture. It also acts as a perfect primer by filling in small pores and wrinkles to create a smooth surface for makeup application. For this, you can also use bottle Aloe Vera gel.
5. As an exfoliator.
Exfoliating is an important part of your skin care routine. However, if you have no body or face scrub, simply mix one part Aloe to two parts sugar and rub this mixture in a circular motion on your body or face to exfoliate and help soften and reveal glowing fresh skin.
6. As a natural shaving gel.
It not only allows you to get a close shave but is also pretty moisturizing and soothing to the skin.
7. Treat acne.
Mix one table spoon of Aloe gel, one table spoon of pure honey and one teaspoon of lemon juice. Mix well and using a brush, apply this on your clean face. This mask is full of anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties that are going to fight the acne and help brighten your skin complexion and fade acne scars.
8. For chapped lips.
Apply aloe gel on your lips while sleeping then clean it up when you wake up and exfloliate with a sugar and honey scrub to remove the dead skin. This will leave your lips smooth.
