Ladies, did you know that Ankara nail art existed?
I'm going to be honest and admit that I had never seen Ankara nails till this pretty mamacita I follow on Instagram posted her gorgeous Ankara nails and I was like "Okay...erm, that's some cute shit right there!"

Maybe I'm behind on the trend but they say "Kuishi kwingi kuona mengi". So I came to find out that it's actually a trend and has been there for a while now. Nail art is a big thing among ladies. Personally, I like my nails not too long and with plain nail polish. That whole crystals, ring finger painted a different color shebang is not for me but kila nyani na starehe yake. I do like the Ankara nails though. They're different, cute and pro-black AF. Basically, you can choose to have each nail with a different Ankara design or have all nails matching. The easiest way to get Ankara nails is to buy the Ankara nails stick-ons which are removed by just pulling them out. Still, if you have a really talented nail technician, you can have him/her paint a simple Ankara design on the nails. Hey, it will probably take longer and maybe cost you some extra doh but it's worth it, me thinks!
