Trevor Noah’s lifestyle has changed dramatically in the past year after replacing Jon Stewart to become Comedy Centrals

The money seems to be rolling in from all quarters after Noah's new stand-up special Afraid of the Dark  made a debut last week on Netflix

Bargain price

Coincidentally, he has only moved floors from a ‘cheaper’ Sh1.5 million two-bedroom condo in the tower which he had been renting.

Khalif Kairo and his former business partner Clement Kinuthia are locked in a heated exchange of accusations, with Kairo now alleging that Clement not only cheated on his wife but also had an affair with his (Kairo’s) girlfriend. The car dealer also revealed that he is currently single, but will introduce a new lady once he resolves the issues surrounding his business.

The three bedroom penthouse spread on the 17th and 18th floors of the building was initially seeking almost $13 million, but was most recently asking a little under $11.5 million.

It comes with 14-feet-high ceilings, oversized windows, an eat-in kitchen with all the fancy finished one would expect, large closets, solid oak flooring, and a 934-square-foot wraparound terrace.

The suite also has an en-suite master bedroom, walk-in closets, and solid oak flooring throughout.

The cast-iron master bath tub exudes a Great Gatsby-like opulence and from it Trevor can see the Empire State Building.

Iconic building

The building was redesigned in the hope of boosting the value and integrity of the Hell’s Kitchen property market, the neighbourhood where the likes of singer Alicia Keys was born and raised.

Being an art deco tower, the building was designed by renowned architect Ralph Walker in the ’20s in luminous colours, housing the city’s artisans and businessmen alike.

The JDS Development Group and Property Markets Group converted the tower to condos and put them on sale in 2014.

It seems the comedian’s dreams have finally come true, previously telling The Wall Street Journal, “As a kid I promised myself I needed to look at something no matter where I lived.”
