Bermuda shorts are back in fashion and here is how to style them (Photos)

Ladies, would you wear these shorts?

For those of you who might not be acquainted with the style, Bermuda shorts are basically shorts that are just slightly above the knee or knee length. Think of shorts that are not too short and just long enough. They are a casual informal wear worn by both men and women. You can either have super fitting shorts or those that are not form-fitting. While the men have been wearing Bermuda shorts for ages, women are now only beginning to warm up to the trend which is slowly coming back into the fashion world.

The Kardashians & Jenners can be credited to having made the Bermuda shorts trendy again as they have been spotted rocking the trend so effortlessly.

The beauty of Bermuda shorts is that they can be styled with nearly everything, from a sophisticated look of a blazer and chic sandal heels to a casual mules or sneakers look. Another plus with these on-trend shorts is that you can have them in different fabrics and prints even though the most common are the denim ones. I don’t know how I feel about the trend though if I’m going to be honest. I feel like the trend is perfect for people who know a thing or two about fashion. Pulling off a Bermuda shorts look is not easy especially if you’re going for the less fitting Bermuda shorts that are super casual, you can end up looking like you decided to walk out of the house in your boyfriend’s boxers. In my opinion, I feel like they look better on curvier ladies as they accentuate the hips for a more flattering look. But that’s just me.

The best part about Bermuda shorts is if you don’t have one, you can simply cut your old jeans slightly above the knees, distress it and boom! You have yourself a trendy pair of Bermuda shorts.
