Here are some of the best shopping malls in Nairobi.

Two Rivers Mall

The mall was unveiled in February 2017 and is owned by investment company Centum Group. It is reputed as the biggest mall in East and Central Africa. It sits on a 100 Acre piece of land situated at Kiambu road on your way to Limuru.

More than 150 local and international stores have rented a place in the mall. Well known international brands like Carrefour and Burger King are housed in the big Mall complex.

There are various restaurants, clothing lines, game stores and facilities for kids to play.

Thika Road Mall

The mall is located along Thika Superhighway and is popularly known as TRM. It is located off exit 8 of the highways and houses executive shopping complexes and Kenya’s first banking hall in a mall. Kenya’s first 5D cinema experience can be found at TRM as well as a Kids’ entertainment complex.

The Junction mall

The mall is located along Ngong Road and houses more than 100 local and international stores. The stores offer a wide variety of goods and services. You will enjoy diverse gourmet restaurants that sell sumptuous dishes, entertainment enterprises and shopping complexes.

The junction mall is referred earns its name from the Ngong road-Naivasha road Junction.

Galleria Mall

Galleria is located on the outskirts of Karen area near the Lang’ata road- Magadi road roundabout. It is also situated opposite the famous Bomas of Kenya.

The mall offers a tranquil shopping experience, live music and various ongoing themed events.

You will also find a good dining experience. It houses some of the best fast food joints like Artcaffe’, Java, KFC and many others.

Westgate Mall

Despite experiencing a terrorist attack Westgate has risen from the ashes to claim its former glory. It is praised as being the only mall in East Africa that engages its clients in enlightening events that are fit for the whole family.

Since its re-opening in 2015 Westgate attracts a “highly cosmopolitan and sophisticated clientele and reaches a well-defined and attractive demographic audience” according to transithotels.

Yaya Center

The mall was built in the 1980s and is located in Kilimani area and 5km from the CBD. It majorly serves the upper middle class residents of Hurlingham and Kilimani areas of Nairobi. It has various modern stores and famous brands that offer unique products.

Sarit Center

Sarit is one of the oldest malls in Kenya located at Westlands in Nairobi. It started functioning in 1983 and is occupied by a diversity of retail shops, offices, medical facilities and many other utilities.

Various international exhibitions and private functions and bouquets are hosted in that veteran mall. It has a wide range of amenities to satisfy the needs of all clients.

Shoppers laud the mall for being decongested even during weekends. It has ample parking space for clients with cars.
