ODM leader Raila Odinga is known for calling press conferences at his Capitol Hill office and Karen home from time to time.
Many of the pressers conducted at his home are usually held outside simply displaying a leafy background and nothing of the interior.
On Wednesday night, however, an exclusive interview with Citizen TV news anchor, Hussein Mohammed, was conducted inside his magnificent Karen home.
From the set up where the interview was held, the country got a sneak peek of the luxurious home the former Prime Minister retreats to after the many political rallies and errands he runs in and outside the country.
The two sat before huge windows which allow natural light in the house during the day.
The room, which has fine finishes, is decorated with an African portrait to simply display his roots and green plants to give it more life.
In another room where Hussein was enjoying a cup of tea with Mr. Odinga, the choice of beige colour to glam the space is evident from the seats, curtains and carpet.
From the pictures, a classy taste of the Odingas is seen through the pieces of furniture displayed in the room
