Leto was recently asked about the aftermath of his second head stunt, and his answer may have induced more questions than existed before. What does one do with a loose model of their own head once its served its whatever it's supposed purpose may have been?
From the sounds of it, as soon as the Met Gala ended, Leto's concern dropped down the meter to the '0' range. "Honestly, I have no idea," he told GQ . "I think someone may have stolen it." Maybe it was unfair to say he cared in the zero range, though, because he is offering up a reasonable reward for its return: a pair of (wildly expensive) Gucci 'dirty sneakers'. "If anyone out there finds it, bring it into your nearest Gucci store in exchange for a pair of dirty sneakers ," he said.
It looked like some fun was had at the time, and looking back in retrospect, a lot of people were photographed with the now-missing Leto head, a wrecking crew that includes Kanye West, Kendall Jenner, and Jeff Bezos. Even look at Michael B. Jordan here. One former Marvel villain (MBJ in Black Panther) and one former DC villain (Leto in Suicide Squad), looking friendly together. But maybe MBJ wanted his victory lapcould this be above his fireplace at home to claim victory for Marvel? Probably not, but it bears consideration.
Another candidate: Shawn Mendes. He is having a BLAST in this photo. Look at his head! It's on his head, but also in his hands. Wild stuff.
It's hard to say. Just like Bigfoot, the Loch Ness Monster, and Area 51, we'll probably never uncover the truth of Jared Leto's missing second head.
