Surefire signs your partner is cheating on you

People cheat for different reasons, the most being, to get something that they're not getting in their current relationship.

Most people say that it's easier to leave a relationship than cheat and that's true but cheating is almost like a drug, you know you're not supposed to do it, but the thrill of doing it takes you into a trance.

One thing's for sure, once someone starts cheating, it's almost impossible to stop and from then on the relationship will go downhill. Sure, some couples have managed to salvage a dying relationship after one partner cheated but once the trust is broken, it's just never the same anymore.

1. A change of habits

Maybe they used to come in at 6:00 p.m. from work, chill a bit and have a cup of tea or watch TV but suddenly, they come in later in the evening and head straight to the shower.

While the change of pattern could be due to other factors such as stress at work and such, at times, it could mean that they're cheating.

2. They suddenly want privacy... a lot of it

Suddenly, the phone has a password, they might even have two lines or phones and you have no idea. A cheater will never leave his/her phone unattended. It's always either in their hands or hidden somewhere.

3. And still on phones, is your partner always texting?

Something is definitely up.

4. Your partner whispers when taking some calls or walks away into another room, or the toilet...

5. Suddenly, they're no longer interested in intimacy

And when they are, the sexual patterns have changed. Like, new s*x positions or maybe your partner doing things they weren't doing before like whispering naughty things in your ears and such.

6. They are emotionally detached

They never seem to ask how your day was or show the care that was once there.

7. However, they will give you gifts randomly

Erm, it's to cover up for the guilt.

8. And speaking of gifts, they will show up with new gifts every now and then. New watch, new earrings, etc.

9. Too many trips out of town

Investigate those trips, those are the ones where your partner gets to escape and have a bomb time with their side in the name of a business trip.

10. Your partner is spending more money than usual

You may find a receipt of an expensive dinner or a huge transaction while doing laundry. Or, you just never seem to know where the money is going anymore, as they're constantly complaining of being broke. That's because the money is being siphoned into the side piece's account. Duh!

11. Your partner is more concerned with how they look than before

For someone that didn't put so much attention into how they look, suddenly, they care about being well-groomed and looking the part. That's because there's someone new that they're trying to impress.

12. You have noticed subtle signs

Like, lipstick marks on your man's shirt or the car seat being moved or a different scent.

13. And when you ask about it or bring up the topic

They deny and accuse you back. That's a cheater's defense mechanism.

14. Your gut feeling tells you so and you can feel it deep down that you're being cheated on.
