Abby shared a clip from her appearance on Instagram . In the video, Abby stands up slowly from her wheelchair with the help of a walker. Still tentative, she holds onto the walker and takes one small step and then another. The audience erupts with rounds of applause. Abby looks a bit shocked.

The reality star included a bit more of what was going through her mind. She captioned the clip: "Watching this made me cry! Thank you @thedoctorstv for letting me share my story with the world! Dr Lawrence Piro, Dr Hooman Mellomed, Dr Christopher Boudakian, Dr Simoni for your wisdom and kindness. My PT was so amazing, CRI is the best! Im not nearly as strong as I was during this taping. I have a long way to go - if theres 1 thing I know, its that Im a fighter and theres no such thing as cant!"
