Is top presenter Jeff Kuria quitting Inooro FM?

Exclusive details

A storm is brewing at Royal Media Services after several top-rated TV and radio reporters resigned to join the competition.

Sources close to the going-ons at the SK Macharia media company told Pulselive.co.ke that top-rated presenter Jeff Kuria could be among those who are on their way out of Royal Media Services.

The king of Kikuyu radio shows has not been on-air and could be preparing a move to Mt Kenya TV which has been poaching vernacular presenters and reporters en masse.

If Kuria finally leaves Inooro FM, the station will take a beating as the Hagaria Show host enjoys a cult following that will not hesitate to adjust their channels to wherever he lands.

Already, Inooro FM has lost four presenters to Iganjo FM - a radio station associated with Kirinyaga Women Representative Purity Ngirici.

The four include Ephraim Antony Mugo, Jeff Munga Waithera, Kihara wa Gathua, and Muhia wa Maina.

Our sources further intimated that most of the staff at Inooro FM and its sister TV station has opted to leave due to poor remuneration, further complicated by the leadership of the new heads.

Edith Wanjiku is heading Inooro FM while Inooro TV is under Patrick Rukwaro, an arrogant fellow who told staff to exit since he had received numerous CVs from job seekers.

A total of nine presenters, among them the highly resourceful Macharia Gachuru, are headed to Mt Kenya TV - further complicating the situation.

With the new injection of experience and talent, Mt Kenya TV and Ithaga FM will soon give the Inooro brand a run for its money.
