I will speak less and act more - Moses Kuria warns Matiang'i

Moses Kuria's chilling message to CS Fred Matiang'i comes after destruction of property was witnessed.

Gatundu MP Moses Kuria has demanded that Interior CS Fred Matiangi and IG Joseph Boinnet take action against NASA supporters who were captured on camera looting property in town or he will be forced to act.

Through a Facebook post, Kuria warned that the behaviour displayed by NASA 'goons' during the protests could no longer be tolerated.

"Dear IG Boinnet and CS Fred Matiangi. The wanton destruction of property and robbing of innocent Kenyans today in broad daylight by NASA goons is simply unacceptable. Enough is enough. Take action now," part of the message read.The vocal legislator noted that he would speak less and act more with regard to the chaos."You have all the tools. You have the law and authority on.your side. Use them. Stop this madness. I won't add anything. From today I choose to speak less and act more," he stated.During the NASA demos on Wednesday, a section of the supporters was caught robbing people while others smashed vehicles in Nairobi's CBD.

In Kisumu, things got out of hand when the demonstrators clashed with police officers.Reports indicate that 17 people were hospitalised with bullet wounds with police maintaining they didn't use live bullets. A section of leaders including Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko condemned the looting of businesses in the capital.
