An MP's daughter was on Friday arrested and arraigned in court over suspected links to the terror group Al Shabaab.
The daughter of North Mugirango MP Charles Mongare was arrested together with her boyfriend by the Anti Terrorism Police Unit (ATPU).

Erisiana Sabiri, 24, denied the charges and instead claimed that her father had colluded with the police to frame her and her boyfriend Ahmed Salim who is a Muslim.
Sabiri said that her father disapproved of her relationship with Salim in an attempt to frustrate the couple and end their relationship.
The ATPU now wants the couple to be held in police custody for five days to enable them carry out extensive investigations int the case.
According to the police, Sabiri and Salim were planning to elope and go to Tanzania in the coming days.
A ruling of the case will be given later on Friday.
In the past two days, the African extremist group Al-Shabab said it carried out three attacks in Somalia and Kenya that killed 16 people, most of them being police and security officers.
Earlier this week, Inspector-General of police Joseph Boinnet warned that a number of dangerous terrorists had sneaked into the country from Somalia.
