The vehicle belonging to Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) ICT Deputy Director Chris Musando, who mysteriously went missing, has been found.

The Land Rover Discovery, registration number KCB 262Q, was reportedly found at the parking lot of Thika Road Mall (TRM) at 1 am on Monday.

At the same time, Gatundu South Moses Kuria posted on his Facebook page that he had found Musando’s car in Roysambu, an area near the TRM.

Reports of Musando’s disappearance hit headlines on Saturday.

IEBC boss Wafula Chebukati divulged that the ICT manager was last seen on Friday night.

“The last communication from him is an SMS text sent to one of his colleagues at around 3.00 am on Saturday morning. The content of the SMS suggests that he was conscious and fully aware of his itinerary for that day,” he said in the letter.
