Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i has ordered for disciplinary action be taken against the headteacher of NYS Primary School, Gilgil.

Dr Matiang’i took action over the headteacher after the CS evacuated students from a classroom with a leaking roof.

The teacher faces sanction for failing to alert relevant authorities that four classrooms needed urgent renovations to avoid putting pupils’ lives in danger.
