Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria on Wednesday evening disowned Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi’s speech offering him (Kuria) a running mate position as a replacement to the current government led by President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto.
Sudi addressed a press conference in Eldoret where he called on Kenyatta and Ruto to resign as they had both failed to take care of citizens – particularly criticizing the arrest of senior government officials in corruption-related matters.
The Kapseret MP said he would make a better President if he was given three months to lead the country together with his running mate Kuria.

However, the outspoken Gatundu South MP was not pleased with the suggestion and issued a statement criticizing Sudi as incompetent and accusing him of condoning of corruption.
“To Oscar Kipchumba Sudi. Do not drag me into your stupidity. I fight my battles in courts silently and with deference to the rule of law and the supremacy of the constitution. No one helps me and I do not expect anyone to expect my help”.
“The Matters you refer to are now subject of the court and so clearly your comments are sub-judice. Let me give you unsolicited advice. Your comments make many people to wonder how you would behave if you are allowed 50 kilometers radius from a future State House,” Kuria said.
The Gatundu South MP has in the recent months sought to distance himself from the Tanga Tanga squad where Sudi is a high-ranking member.
Kuria had in the past been a vocal supporter of the Ruto camp but has withdrawn his support to concentrate on his own 2022 presidential bid.
