Kalonzo makes unexpected promise to Raila

Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has made an unexpected promise to ODM leader Raila Odinga.

Speaking to a local daily, Kalonzo said the reason was because there was a new entrant, Amani National Congress (ANC) leader Musalia Mudavadi, adding that the deal was not made public due it’s “sensitivity”.The NASA principal, who spoke on a wide range of issues, disclosed that there were people who were trying to push him out of NASA but affirmed he would not fall for their trap.

"I am aware of that trap and will not fall into it. If Nasa nominations are done fairly and with the objective of wanting to beat Jubilee, ask the man in the streets who among us is able to beat Jubilee and raid its strongholds," the wiper party leader was quoted by the Nation. The former vice president also dismissed claims that he had been paid millions by Jubilee to leave NASA.

“I have heard claims that I have been paid millions by Jubilee to quit Nasa. These are people who do not know me. Why is it that I attract such suspicions? I respect myself.

“They are in for a surprise because I am in NASA to stay,” Kalonzo affirmed.

The Wiper party leader affirmed that he was the best leader to unite the country and send the Jubilee administration home.

"I want the country to know that I am determined to run for the Presidency of the Republic of Kenya on a NASA ticket,” Mr Musyoka affirmed.

Last week, the Wiper party threatened to walk out of the coalition if Kalonzo was not named the NASA presidential candidate.
