Nairobi gubernatorial hopeful Peter Kenneth has hinted that he could run as an independent candidate after losing to Senator Mike Sonko in the Jubilee primaries.
This after details emerged that he had declined a proposal to take charge of the Infrastructure Development docket in order to step down for Sonko.
Speaking at St Stephen Anglican Church in Jogoo Road, Kenneth affirmed that he would not concede defeat to the senator even if his appeal is overruled by Jubilee's tribunal. The former 2013 presidential hopeful alleged that the Nairobi senator tool residents from Machakos and took them around polling stations in Nairobi to ensure they voted."The entire process was a total farce, it is not yet over until it is over; we are waiting for the decision by the appeal tribunal on Tuesday after which once through we shall make the next move," Kenneth stated.
