Meet the powerful men unveiled to lead Raila’s campaign team

The team consists of strategists, elite influencers, financiers as well as powerful politicians.

With the elections less than three months away, Nasa presidential candidate Raila Odinga’s campaign team has been revealed.

The team will be headed by Amani National Congress (ANC) leader Musalia Mudavadi who was given the powerful position of Premier Cabinet Secretary should Nasa form the next government.

Mudavadi will be consistently reporting to Nasa’s top most organ the Pentagon that consists of ODM’s Raila, Wiper's Kalonzo Musyoka, Ford Kenya's Moses Wetang'ula and Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto of CCM.

Technical experts

Technical advisor on Public Finance to the Committee of Experts David Ndii along with Abubakar Zein who is a member of the East African Legislative Assembly are both in the team.

The two were part of the six-member technical team that were tasked with the responsibility of picking the Nasa presidential candidate.

Joining them is billionaire businessman Jimmy Wanjigi who ironically was in Jubilee and was reportedly behind the Nasa deal that made Raila be named flag bearer.

Regional teams

The campaign team will be further devolved into regions across the county to be headed by the following governors and powerful politicians.

Logistics will be headed by Godfrey Kanoti, Caesar Asiyo and Chris Mandu Mandu.

Capitol Hill offices situated in upper Hill which has been synonymous with Raila will house Nasa's secretariat.
