Miguna: Peter Kenneth is a bankrupt, useless and confused thief contester

Miguna Miguna said that Kenneth, who is also a Nairobi gubernatorial hopeful, is a thief and that he should not take credit for the Gatanga CDF projects, as he did not do the work.

Speaking in an interview on a local radio station this morning, Miguna has said that Kenneth should not take credit for what he has not done in Gatanga.

“Peter Kenneth is a useless bankrupt thief, who should not be running for any public office. I will deal with him and deconstruct him like I would for any other cartel in Nairobi. In fact, he should not be vying for any public office,"  Miguna said.

He added: “If I win the elections, I will appoint him as the director of beauty department for the county.”

Here is a transcribe of his interview in part:

Q: Do you have a preferred candidate for the presidency?

The answer is this; I will leave it to Kenyans to decide. I am running on my lane. I want the Nairobians to form all affiliations to support me on the basis of integrity, my vision and my programs for the county. I would like them to just make a decision on who they are supporting at the presidential level.

Q: What’s your take on Joho vs Uhuru scuffle in Mtongwe Mombasa?

Just because we have counties doesn’t mean that we don’t have a president. Joho should see Uhuru as his president. I think the presidency as an institution, forget about Jubilee and NASA, should be respected.

It has to be accorded all due respect. Any country that does not respect the presidency, no matter who is in it, is not going anywhere.

Good leaders don’t go on streets to demonstrate. Once elected, like if am elected the governor of Nairobi, I cannot call the president names, or another governor names, because I occupy public office.

In equal measure the president should also accord governor Joho is due as the Mombasa governor.

Q: Who is to blame, Joho or Uhuru, and what is your final view on this?

So on this incidence, Joho is not to blame than the president. This is because the president had a function, what he went to open does not belong to the county.

You don’t have to go where you have not been invited, and if you go, be humble. It is not more on who is able to mobilise more hecklers.

It was for Joho to try to attend the Mtongwe ferry launch by force. He should respect the president.

Q: What should Nairobians expect from you when you take office?

Nairobians should be steady this time. Let them put aside [political parties and focus on someone. Evans Kidero is the governor through a party called ODM.

When you look at the ballot papers in August elections, you will only meet the names of the contesters, not the parties.

So, let them choose me because I will guard you money in form of tax which is being misused. Nairobians deserve a decent. I will root out corruption in the county as immediately as possible.
