Everywhere he goes he seem to court controversy and he is therefore loved and hated in equal measure.

It is his manner of talking or speaking his mind that has however sometimes had a few Kenyans boiling with rage.

He has walked out of numerous live interviewees, insulted media houses and journalists and as if that is not enough he has numerous hate speech charges pending in court.

His latest controversy surrounded the still unclear murder of IEBC IT manager, Chris Msando who was kidnapped, tortured and murdered days to the general elections after he posted a controversial post  on facebook over his disappearance.

Many Kenyans therefore predicated that his ‘dirty mouth’ will eventually catch up with him and the electorate will send him home.

Come election date, 8th August residents of Gatundu South went to the polls like the rest of other Kenyans to vote in/out respective leaders from the President to their local Member of County Assembly.

Mr. Kuria was defending his seat under the popular Jubilee party and was for the first time facing off with seven aspirants who wanted to unseat him, some Kenyans predicated the end was nigh for Kuria.

It never came to pass.

According to IEBC official results, Moses Kuria won another term in parliament by a landslide.

Moses Kiarie Kuria garnered 60 867 votes (91,64%) compared to his closest rival Peter Kungu Kibathi running as an Independent candidate who only managed to secure 2 323 votes (3,50%) votes.

The other remaining six candidates all got less than 1 % of the remaining votes.

In short the residents of Gatundu South overwhelmingly voted for Kuria to represent them in the 12 th parliament.

Clearly they must have seen something in him that the rest of the country is yet to see and the rest of Kenyans need to respect that decision.
