Speaking in Malava on Wednesday as he kicked off his western tour, Kenyatta stated that Odinga stood no chance of winning adding that he would make sure he was among the beneficiaries of the cash programme for the elderly.
“Jubilee is ready to ensure Mr Odinga benefits from the cash programme for the elderly after August 8 since he has no chance of winning the presidency,” the Head of State affirmed.The president maintained that NASA had nothing to offer Kenyans and exuded confidence that Jubilee would win the upcoming polls.“Jubilee is confident of clinching victory on August 8 and our aim is to unite all Kenyans and ensure peaceful co-existence of the different communities,” he said.Meanwhile, NASA brigade led by the former Prime Minister has maintained that Jubilee has failed in its mandate to lead the country.The Opposition leaders have highlighted the high cost of living and the ballooning debt For the country as part of their key failures.
