Babu Owino responds after Jaguar asked for a rematch fist fight

Babu and Jaguar last fought in 2017

Embakasi East MP Babu Owino responds after Starehe's Charles Jaguar asked for a rematch fist fight

Embakasi East MP Babu Owino on Monday morning responded to Starehe MP Charles Njagua, popularly known by his stage name Jaguar, who requested for a rematch first fight.

Owino said he was firmly concentrating on development issues and was not willing to engage in a physical fight.

What has the Commander from Starehe said (Njagua). The only energy I got is for fighting for the people who voted for me and the oppressed masses in our society. The only fight I will engage in is on development issues,” Owino stated.

He spoke a day after the Starehe MP requested for permission from Deputy President William Ruto to fight Owino for allegedly disrespecting the DP.

Your excellency there is a young boy called Babu Owino who insulted you recently. I am asking your permission to let me beat up that boy again and embarrass him, your excellency," the city legislator said during a public rally in Kayole.

The two MPs have in the past engaged in an embarrassing fist fight at Parliament buildings.

Njagua and Owino fought during the divisive 2017 presidential election after which they were suspended from the National Assembly before being re-admitted following unreserved apologies.
