Four more bodies have been discovered at Lake Victoria.

This comes after one body with bullet wounds was discovered earlier on in the lake.

Kisumu Governor Anyang’ Nyong’o accused the police of killing the demonstrators and dumping their bodies in the lake following the discovery of the first body earlier on.

The body was taken to Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital for a post-mortum where it was confirmed that the body had two bullet wounds to the chest.

“The mortuary attendant here has confirmed that the body brought here today has two holes in the chest. This now shows that the claims that police killed protestors and dumped their bodies in the lake are true,” he was quoted by the Daily Nation.

Nyong’o had also earlier claimed that there were four bodies that had been retrieved from the lake, claims that the police had denied.

“The claim about four bodies is baseless,” said County commander Titus Oyoma.
