A 43-year-old Isreali man was on Wednesday brutally murdered in Trans Nzoia county by members of a robbery gang.

The robbers broke into his house at Spring Valley estate and made away with a television set and phones.
The gang also seriously injured the man's wife during the attack leaving her for dead.

Prison Warder Pauline Wangari found dead
In an unrelated incident, 24-year-old Pauline Wangari, a prison warder from Murang'a GK prison was found dead in her apartment in Kiharu.
The prison warder's body was found with stab wounds to the chest and head with neighbours reporting that they heard screams from her house on Tuesday night.
Police boss Josephat kinyua confirmed the report adding that investigations had begun to determine who may have committed the murder.
