Man Commits Suicide over daughter’s school fees

So sad!

The ill-fated incident took place in Githurai, Nairobi on Thursday.

“Now a year and I can’t manage to take my daughter to Form One, Oliver,” Mr. Okombo stated in the note. Adding that he cannot continue living while his daughter is crying to join school.

Mr. Okombo went ahead to ask Oliver to send the Ksh.759, 000 he owes him to his wife so that she is able to take their daughter to school.

“My family is a long story but that’s how I have decided to end my life,” reveals the departed in the suicide note.

Mr. Okombo leaves behind a widow, Jackline Oluoch, and two children.

An almost similar incident took place last year but involved a student. The student committed suicide after he was sent home for school fees. The second year Multimedia University student was later found hanging from a roof top in Shauri Moyo area, Nairobi.
