Man Commits Suicide over daughter’s school fees

So sad!

A man ended his life after he was incapable of raising school fees for his daughter who was to join Moi Girls’

The ill-fated incident took place in Githurai, Nairobi on Thursday.

John Castrol Okombo, arrived at this decision after he was unable to beat today’s deadline of admission due to lack of funds.

“Now a year and I can’t manage to take my daughter to Form One, Oliver,” Mr. Okombo stated in the note. Adding that he cannot continue living while his daughter is crying to join school.

Mr. Okombo went ahead to ask Oliver to send the Ksh.759, 000 he owes him to his wife so that she is able to take their daughter to school.

“My family is a long story but that’s how I have decided to end my life,” reveals the departed in the suicide note.

Mr. Okombo leaves behind a widow, Jackline Oluoch, and two children.

An almost similar incident took place last year but involved a student. The student committed suicide after he was sent home for school fees. The second year Multimedia University student was later found hanging from a roof top in Shauri Moyo area, Nairobi.
