Oscar Sudi sends Uhuru this message, hours to Eldoret meeting

Uhuru expected in Eldoret tomorrow

Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi

Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi on Thursday evening sought to assure President Uhuru Kenyatta that he would not interrupt the head of state’s function that will be held tomorrow (Friday).

Sudi made the announcement following media reports that State House officials were concerned that the sharp-tongued message would use the platform to carry out a political attack against the President.

The legislator, however, said he would not allow political differences to affect the re-launch of the Rivatex factory in Eldoret.

I want to tell you, President, this is a very big project, congratulations and we welcome you to come open it officially,” he told members of the press.

He added that he would continue correcting the President whenever political differences arise but would not mix politics with development issues.

As Rift Valley leaders, we are concerned with development. When its time for politics, we will correct you but when it’s time to work, we will work with you. I urge all leaders and residents to come out and welcome the President as he launched this factory,” the MP stated.

Media reports indicated that the President’s handlers are keen to deny Sudi a chance to address the gathering for fear that he would use it to hit on Kenyatta.
