MP in mourning after son drowns in swimming pool

Chris Ademah, the first born son to Ikolomani Member of Parliament Bernard Shinali has passed on.

Ademah drowned in a swimming pool in Arizona while attempting to rescue a lady from Canada who was suffocating in water.

The girl was however rescued and rushed to hospital and is reported to be in stable condition.

The lawmaker confirmed the unfortunate incident to K24TV, adding that plans are underway to have the body of the deceased flown back to Kenya for burial.

The deceased who was 35 at the time of his death is survived by a widow and two children.

Adema who was serving in the US army was expecting his third born with his wife nine-months-pregnant at the time of the incident.
