Former US Secretary of State John Kerry, who is leading the US Observer Mission in the country's elections, surprised journalists with a comment on a Kenyan baby.

Addressing the journalists on Thursday, Kerry divulged that he had observed one baby being used by different people to vote on Tuesday in order to skip the long queues.

The former  US secretary was giving a brief on the recent concluded Elections in Kenya where he recommended the IEBC for a good job.

"The identification process made it certain that the people who were voting were registered. The people who voted were alive. I didn't see any dead people walking around," he stated.

A section of the public, including men, carried babies on their backs to avoid the long queues while other pretended to be sick during Tuesday's Elections.
