Six Kenyans have been killed in a suspected militia attack in a village in Banisa, Mandera County.

Two people sustained serious injuries in the attack.

According to a local chief, the attack was a revenge mission after two men were killed in Ethiopia on Monday.

The chief who spoke to Daily Nation on anonymity said that five people were killed at Choroqo and one other killed at Domal village.

“We are expecting the government to send in more police officers to control the situation,” he said.
