Kenyans react to photo of a boy being attacked during NASA protests
25 November 2017 at 11:20The picture which has been doing rounds is said to have been taken during the clash between NASA supporters and police forces during Raila Odinga’s return from his US trip.
Kenyans have reacted to a photo of a boy laying half naked in a pool of blood after being attacked by gang purporting to be protecting business.
The boy identified as Gabriel Odhiambo, is said to have been heading to Gikomba market when the welcoming parade for Raia Odinga turned violent. Gabriel ran for safety towards Nyamakima market. It is then that Gabriel ran into the gang.
The gang pounced on him with crude weapons. They then proceeded to strip him in an attempt to circumcise him.
The photo has elicited reactions from both sides of the political divide. Here is the picture.
