Embakasi East Member of Parliament Babu Owino’s opponent has moved to the Supreme Court to challenge a decision of the appeal court upholding the election victory of Mr. Owino.
Though the reports emerged today, Francis Mureithi told Pulselive.co.ke that he filed the petition at the apex court about a month ago.
He wants the decision of the Court of Appeal overturned insisting that the election of Owino was not free and fair.
Mr Mureithi divulged that the case will be heard on August 13, 2018.
