IEBC office and property destroyed

IEBC is preparing for a by-election on March 26.

IEBC on Monday afternoon via twitter said a section of its offices had been overwhelmed by the pounding rains adding that it was assessing the degree of damages.

“Our Kajiado East Constituency office, Isinya, has been overwhelmed by the rains. We are assessing the damage,” the Commission said.

Meanwhile, the commission on Monday morning embarked  on a voter sensitisation exercise in Kitui West Constituency ahead of the by-election slated for March 26, 2018.

“Voter education is going on for the March 26th Kitui West Member of National Assembly MNA by-election. We want voters to better understand the voting process so as to minimize cases of spoilt votes,” the Commission said on Monday.
