Police are currently in search of Jacque Maribe

The Television star and one of the senior reporters at Citizen TV, Jacque Maribe has sought to seek services from famous defense lawyer Cliff Ombeta.

Citizen TV reporter Jacque Maribe has sought the services of criminal lawyer Cliff Ombeta.

Ombeta confirmed that Maribe had reached out to him but declined to divulge more details stating that he had no comment at the time.

“Yes, she (Maribe) has contacted us for representation but no comment for now,” the lawyer was quoted by the Standard.

Police are looking for Ms. Maribe to explain events that have now emerged after her fiance Mr. Joe Irungu was arrested in connection with the murder of Monica Kimani.

Police mentioned that the car Mr Irungu was driving when he was spotted in Kimani’s house before her body was discovered is registered in Maribe’s name, which has now been detained by detectives.

“She is not responding to our calls but we have left a message for her, requiring her to come for further clarification. Even her lawyer says she is not responding to calls,” one of the officers stated.
