A city pastor was on Tuesday send to jail by a Nairobi court for ‘causing disturbance’ outside Interior CS Dr Fred Matiang’i’s office in Nairobi.

Jemimah Wangari Waruingi was arrested on Tuesday morning, taken to court in the afternoon and later send to jail after the ruling by Milimani Law Courte which found her guilty of her offense.

Ms Wangari had shouted outside Matiang’i’s office on Tuesday morning seeking the help from CS Matiang’i’s office for undisclosed problem.

“Lazima nione Mr Matiang’i, lazima shida yangu ijulikane leo,” she had shouted outside the CS’s office, according to the police charge sheet presented to court.

The street preacher has been handed a one year non-custodial jail term.
