Panic after Tuesday's KCSE exams fail to kick-off

There was panic after the KCSE exams on Tuesday morning failed to begin as scheduled.

Students at Karura in Mwingi North did not start their KCSE at the same time with their counterparts in the country following heavy rains that pounded the area.

It took a joint effort by the government and educational to deliver the Kiswahili paper III and Geography paper I exams by a helicopter.

The students at Wikithuki Secondary School eventually proceeded to sit for their exams after the safe delivery of the papers.

On Monday, a vehicle ferrying the examination papers to the area was swept away by raging flood waters at River Karura.

The papers were however safely salvaged from the vehicle by local residents who joined in the rescue mission.
