Hessy singled out the 14-year-old girl who is the main suspect in the Moi Girls fire that killed nine girls.
The girl was on Wednesday charged before High Court Judge Luka Kimaru with the murder of her nine schoolmates.
Hessy posted on the Dandora Crime Free group, “Jana nilisema huyo mwanafunzi alichoma wenzake-Moi girls high school akipatikana na hatia ahukumiwe kunyongwa ndo iwe funzo kwa wanafunzi wenye nia kama hiyo.”
This loosely translates to, “if she is found guilty, she should be sentenced to hang to serve as an example to other students with such intentions”.
Hessy also singled out the student at Orero Secondary School who was on Wednesday found with a pistol on after his colleagues raised the alarm.
The 17-year old Form Four student was later apprehended and is in police custody in Homa Bay County for being in possession of an illegal firearm.
“Sasa hawa ni wanafunzi ama ni majangili ambao wamejificha kwa mashule with the title of students????” (Are these students or thugs who have hid themselves in school under the title of students?).
Hessy assured Kenyans that they should not worry as his squad will always be at the forefront to help them know the difference between a criminal and a student.
He advised parents to mentor their children and teach them manners while being a role model to them in a positive way to avoid trouble, warning that they will not relent in taking appropriate action against thugs masquerading as students.
“We all know a criminal will always be a criminal. There is no such thing as a student especially when other people’s lives are threatened. I have gone!” Hessy warned.
