25 rushed to hospital after accident along major highway

Accident occurred at the same spot where 41 people perished in 2013

The accident occurred along the Narok Mai-Mahiu road at Ntulele blackspot at around 1:30 AM.

The bus owned by The Guardian Transport Company veered off the road at the same spot where 41 people perished in a nasty accident in August 2018.

Among the injured were two minors and 23 adults who were rushed to hospital with various injuries.

Narok police chief Joseph Kisompe confirmed the accident which adds on to the growing number of fatal crashes at the same spot where many lives have been lost.

“23 adult passengers and two minors sustained various injuries. They have been taken to Narok County Referral Hospital” Kisompe said.

The bus was towed to Narok Police Station with investigation launched to establish the cause of the accident.
