Uhuru's Chief of Staff speaks on firing Dennis Itumbi

Has PSCU been kicked out of State House?

Speaking exclusively to Pulselive.co.ke, Mr Waita stated that the news was fake and refused to answer other questions touching on the matter.

On Monday, emerging reports indicated that the entire Presidential Strategic Communications Unit (PSCU) had been kicked out of State House by Mr. Waita who is also the Head of the Presidential Delivery Unit.

The information suggested that apart from State House Spokesperson Mr. Manoah Esipisu, the entire PSCU team was now operating from Deputy President William Ruto’s office.

At the same time, Mr Itumbi told Pulselive.co.ke that the team was still operating from State House.

In 2016 the PSCU team was reportedly suspended then reinstated after an intervention.
