What Raila did for Mohammed Ali before being elected to Parliament

Ali spills the beans on what "Baba" did for him

Ali who won the Nyali seat on an independent ticket has revealed what the NASA Presidential Candidate Raila Odinga did for him before was elected to Parliament.

According to Ali, Odinga allowed him to vie in the Nyali parliamentary seat despite what happened at the Nominations level.

Ali who described Raila has his political father stated that he had joined ODM because of their ideologies and being rigged out of the nominations did not kill his political ambition.

“He allowed me to vie in Nyali and irrespective of what happened in ODM primaries at Nyali, I still view Raila as a father and a man I admire for his ideologies. I want to follow his footsteps to keep his legacy,” said Mohammed Ali during an Interview with the Nairobian

Odinga and the Nyali legislator enjoy a very good relationship that saw the Nasa leader offer him support despite having an ODM candidate in the Nyali race.

He added that before joining politics he had a four-hour meeting with Raila who offered him political advice that helped build his career as a politician.

Ali  believes  that he was rigged out of the ODM primaries and his victory accorded to Hassan Joho’s brother Said Saido.

“The electorate was behind me and my victory is proof that I was rigged out of the nominations. Even during the elections, my name was missing from the IEBC register and I didn’t vote!” Ali revealed.
