Team Mafisi finally registered as a foundation

The foundation will provide a forum for socioeconomic empowerment of the youth.

Team Mafisi has been granted a certificate of registration and declared a legally recognized foundation.

The founder of the foundation Wilson Muirania who is also popularly known as Jaymo Ule Msee was handed the certificate by the Non- Governmental Organization Chief Executive, Fazul Mahamed.

According to Jaymo, the foundation as named is not for promiscuity but a forum that will allow the youth to engage in socioeconomic empowerment programs. Jaymo believes that everyone is a ‘fisi’ in their own way.

Speaking to Nairobi New he said, “Every young Kenya behaves like a ‘fisi’ in order to survive. They have to wait for the bigger man to hunt and then they eat what has been left. We want to eliminate that and make sure everyone can survive out there. Don’t get the name wrong, we are here to do good work... The foundation will be a way of creating a platform for members to positively engage in socioeconomic empowerment programs for the youth all across the country.”
