Former President Mwaki Kibaki's spokesman Dr Ngare Gitu has dispelled rumours going round on social media that he has been hospitalised.

Speculations were rife that Kibaki had been rushed to hospital and in critical condition.

However, Dr Ngure has assured the public that the former Head of State is in good condition and nowhere near a hospital.
