Reports reaching Pulselive.co.ke indicate that the plane, a Cessna 152 II belonging to the Flight Training Centre crashed in a forest a few minutes after it had taken off from Kindaruma airstrip in Masinga.
According to Masinga OCPD Francis Siror who confirmed the incident, two trainee pilots from the Flight Training Center Nairobi who were on board the aircraft escaped unhurt.
Capital reported that officials from the Flight Training Centre and those from the Aviation Authority are expected to visit the site of the crash to establish the cause of the crash.
